I'm a newly minted Assistant Professor and Director of Digital Pedagogy at Wofford College, having earned my PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in summer of 2015. At UT I was an Assistant Director of the Digital Writing and Research Lab, and my pedagogy is inevitably infused with technology, even if it's just student blogs. My webtext, "Pleased to Tweet You" (Harlot, issue 13), considers live tweeting at academic conferences as a form of participatory theater. My dissertation is about humor and identity politics, and I've been a freelance arts writer in Austin for five years. I like to run, bake, and laugh.
