Hey folks! We are just a few weeks away from THATCamp Digital Appalachia. We are excited to see what sorts of interests and concerns will come up once we gather in the morning. Here are some of the initial questions we’ve come up with to help prime the pump:
- How can DH address social, cultural, and technological issues specific to the Appalachian region?
- What regional DH projects are underway, and what can we learn from their successes and their setbacks?
- What opportunities exist for outreach and partnerships between and amongst regional academic institutions, community groups, and local, regional, and national agencies?
- What specific issues of access, representation, etc. does DH work raise for Appalachian Studies?
We already have quite a few registrants, so if you know of any other campers out there looking to join us, please encourage them to register now! Remember that Registration is FREE, but we are capping enrollment at 100 participants.
