I am a doctoral candidate in religious studies at Emory University writing a dissertation on representations of Appalachian religions. I also work as the assistant managing editor of Southern Spaces, an online peer reviewed interdisciplinary journal about regions, places, and cultures of the US South and their global connections. In my spare time, I read endlessly, can copious amounts of jam, and take long walks with my husband and dog.
